Well within the first thousand aneroid barometers constructed by this world-renowned London maker, this Negretti & Zambra barometer is a rare instrument with wonderful aesthetics and functionality, and must be regarded as of great historical importance. Though the engraved dedication is dated 1866, this is well after the manufacture date of this barometer. A fine collector’s piece.
