We’re delighted that the amazing Campbell model steam engine has been featured in the Antiques Trade Gazette special publication “Sixty Objects, Sixty Stories”, a review of 2019 highlights from the magazine.

John Campbell of Airdrie, Scotland, an engineer in the shipbuilding industry, spent three years constructing a fully-working horizontal model steam engine. Completed in 1903, he achieved six prestigious Scottish awards for his masterpiece.
