A really lovely and very original fully serviced Art Nouveau ship’s clock with subsidiary seconds dial c.1900

Ship’s clock having 6″ painted enamel dial with Art Nouveau hours, subsidiary seconds dial, winding port, and slow/fast regulator. Opening bevelled glass front. 8 day platform escapement.

Contained in a substantial brass bulkhead case with very unusual decorative cast brass bezel, over-centre fastener, and rear mounting flange.

Condition: Fully serviced. The enamel dial with losses to edge at 6 and 11 o’clock, not visible when clock front closed.

Comments: This is a very attractive, fully serviced quality clock, ticking away nicely and keeping perfect time. Supplied with key.
