Rare Antique Fleuss Geryk Vacuum Pump No 14636 c1915 – SOLD
Antique Geryk vacuum pump of substantial construction and comprising grooved fly wheel for belt drive, reciprocating connecting rod, rocking beam, multi-chamber part oil filled vacuum cylinder with filler port, vacuum tube. All set on a heavy base with maker’s plate marked “Geryk Vacuum Pump Ref No 1/14636, Pulsometer Engineering Co Ltd, London & Reading.”
This belt-driven type having been the subject of full restoration. Originally it would have been driven by an electric motor at a maximum of one hundred revolutions/minute.
Belt-driven variants are seldom seen.
Great aesthetics and certainly useable, this is a scarce item. A collector’s piece.
